Molly Rhoads has been invited to participate in The Sixth Annual Women in the Winner’s Circle Celebration Luncheon. The luncheon is July 24th at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Plaza Village Pavilion. Molly will be joining other professional women drivers; Lyn St. James, Danica Patrick, Sarah Fisher, Erin Crocker, Janet Guthrie, Ashley Force, Melanie Troxel, and more.

Molly Rhoads was invited to participate in the Women in the Winner’s Circle Driver Development Program this year. The purpose of the program is to provide information and training for female racecar drivers who have demonstrated success on track and have a desire to pursue a career in professional motorsports. The program has been redesigned into four weekend phases. The first phase was in Phoenix Arizona last November-the phase was focused on physical and mental preparation that is required of a champion driver. Molly went through physical and mental testing and was given tools to improve herself both physically and mentally. Phase two was held in March at Indianapolis. Molly received training in various aspects of working with the media (interviewing, press releases and speeches) and also learned about sponsorship and financial planning. Molly was tested both physically and mentally and had to show improvement in order to be invited to the third phase of the program. The third phase will be held this October in Florida. Molly will have the chance to get on the track and show her skills and also learn from the best school in racing, Finishline Racing School. Phase four consists of re-testing of the materials covered in the first three phases and graduation.

Molly Rhoads is racing every Sunday night through Sept 7th at Raceway Park in Shakopee, MN. Molly is currently fifth in points, just a few points out of third place. She has won four out of the six heat races and just recently finished 5th in the MN Late Model Challenge Series race at Raceway Park.
